Routine arthroscopy through multiligament knee, revision ACL, cartilage restoration, hip arthroscopy and reverse shoulder — the whole spectrum, at volume, side by side with each of the core faculty five days a week.

A bioskills lab one floor above the ORs

The seventh floor of the institute is research and education, directly above the operating rooms: a state-of-the-art cadaveric lab serving both the hospital and ASC sides of Jewett, operating microscopes for microvascular training, an auditorium. Fellows get it for countless rehearsals — run the approach the night before, ask the question you would not ask in a live room.

And a research engine behind it

A dedicated sports medicine research team — administrative and statistical support, study coordinators and a full-time research fellow — plus a seat in NIH- and DoD-funded international randomized trials. Fellows have the opportunity and resources available to be involved at whatever level they desire, with full support from faculty and administration.
